Tomorrow! Unni Turrettini, Author of "The Mystery of the Lone Wolf Killer" Appearing at Chilton Club, Boston

BOSTON - Sept. 8, 2016 - PRLog -- Writer Unni Turrettini will be speaking at The Chilton Club on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 6:00 PM EST. She is the author of "The Mystery of the Lone Wolf Killer: Anders Behring Breivik and the Threat of Terror in Plain Sight."

The book recounts one of the darkest days in Norwegian history that had repercussions throughout the world. On July 22, 2011, Anders Behring Breivik blew up a government building and murdered seventy-seven people, most of them teenagers and young adults, and wounded hundreds more before being apprehended by the police at Utoya Island.

Ms. Turrettini used painstaking research and analysis to expound upon the motivations that surrounded Breivik, and reached some startling and disturbing conclusions that reflect other lone-wolf killers in history.

As Kirkus Reviews states: "The author's argument has wide application: namely, that by overlooking announcements of intent, in effect, that these killers often make before acting, law enforcement officials will miss the lone wolf killers among us. An urgent but evenhanded treatise that deserves a wide readership."

Unni Turrettini was born in Norway and grew up in Drammen, a city near Oslo, and has law degrees from Norway, France, and the United States. She is a member of the New York Bar and has worked numerous years as a lawyer and in finance in Paris and Geneva. She is currently living in Oslo, Norway after numerous years in Geneva, Switzerland, and is working on a book about the Nobel Peace Prize. She is represented by Linda Langton of Langtons International Agency.

The Chilton Club is a private social club established in 1910, located in the Back Bay area of Boston, Massachusetts. Founded by Pauline Revere Thayer, the club was intended in part as a female counterpoint to the Mayflower Club. The club was named after Mary Chilton, the first woman supposedly to have stepped off of the Mayflower onto Plymouth Rock in 1620.
