Energy Toolbase Releases Major Software Update

STUART, Fla. - Sept. 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Energy Toolbase, an industry leading solar software platform, announced the release of a major software update today. The new version upgrades Energy Toolbase's software-as-a-service product, and is available immediately to all users. The new release has been in development for 16 months and is the company's biggest update, since debuting in 2014.

The new features and enhancements include:

NEM 2.0: ability to precisely analyze any scenario where kilowatt-hour solar exports are valued at less than the retail rate.

Customized proposals: ability to create fully customized and interactive proposals, choosing from a library of templates or building from scratch.

API integrations: gives users the ability to interact directly with industry leading service providers, including K2 Clean Energy Capital, a commercial PACE financier, and UtilityAPI, an innovative utility data retrieval service.

Streamlined interfaces and workflows: create a more intuitive user experience, allowing users to quickly qualify projects, optimize the system configuration and close more deals.

Energy Toolbase is currently being used by over 500 leading distributed energy organizations nationwide, including solar and energy storage developers, installers, consultants, energy service companies and utilities. The software specializes in utility rate analysis, modeling the economics of solar and storage projects, and creating customer facing proposals.
