Sanasam Joykumar Singh was born on 10th Feb.1958, a B.Sc.Hons. (Chemistry) from D.M.College, Imphal and B.Tech from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, started working as a journalist from the year 1977 to 1980 in the popular fortnightly Manipuri publication "Phiral". This book is the author's first publication. Married to Ms. Ch. Kaberi Devi, M.Sc. (Chemistry) in 1987 and have three daughters and one son. Joykumar is presently working as Deputy Director in the Directorate of Commerce & Industries, Government of Manipur. His generosity and experiences of leadership in public coordination pulled him up to work in different organizations from the early part of his life: President, Kolkata Manipuri Student's Union, Jt.
