Prospect Financial helps promote veterans assistance with donation to Veterans Career Life Center

SAN DIEGO - Aug. 26, 2016 - PRLog -- Prospect Financial, a leader in home refinancing and an advocate for veteran assistance is giving back to the community with a donation of $1,000 to the Veterans Career Life Center (VCLC).

The Veterans Career Life Center is a San Diego non-profit organization founded in 2015 by Vincente Tito Cedeño. A veteran himself, Mr. Cedeño began this project as he saw the need for a better solution to help veterans transition from service to civilian life. VCLC's mission is to help "veterans make informed decisions regarding career and life transitions, from service to civilian, we develop the confidence from within to drive career and life success."

After the donation, Mr. Cedeño stated, "Thanks to PFG's donation, it will go towards our development of Veterans Career Life App!" The VCLC's free application will help veterans connect with organizations, groups, and businesses that give out assistance to veterans. The app will house an interactive area map that will list different locations as well as contact information for organizations in the area providing veteran's assistance. Categories include health care, education, housing, and career services. The app will also feature a discount list and frequently asked questions.
