![]() Aussie inventor launches new Kickstarter campaign which sees their invention unlock your car's true potentialAustralian firm Berry Robotics turns to the popular crowdfunding website, Kickstarter, to raise funds for a new, innovative and first of its kind device which removes all factory-set barriers to optimum vehicle performance.
By: Berry Robotics PERTH, Australia - Aug. 24, 2016 - PRLog -- Berry Robotics, the company behind the brand new Berry System, brings any vehicle's performance up to optimum levels, which provides the driver with lower fuel costs and an overall better drive.
The company has announced that its Kickstarter campaign has already seen it surpass the 30 percent funding stage. Berry Robotics requires just over thirty-three thousand Australian dollars to see it mass produce the Berry System, and if the daily backing continues, the manufacturer will see their device mass produced. How the Berry System works Once connected to the car's computer – which is easy to do with the Berry – this nonintrusive device is able to send real-time data to a smartphone via Bluetooth. The data is presented in an easy-to-understand format, allowing even non-car enthusiasts to fully gauge what needs to be improved. The Berry then allows the user to make any changes he/ she wants to make. "I love cars, but I'm not a huge fan of car manufacturers," Differing from Chip Tuners and Custom Tunes Unlike chip tuners, which often make some mild changes to one or two sensors on a car's computer, the Berry device takes complete ownership of the CPU, giving users the power to enhance their car's performance to suit their needs. The user simply selects what changes they want to make via their smartphone, and the changes are registered on the CPU. It's that easy. The same can be said of custom tunes, which on the plus side can provide better fuel efficiency, but on the downside cannot be modified or removed if the owner wants to sell the car. Why Berry Robotics Turned to Kickstarter "We turned to crowdfunding to get the Berry off the ground. We've been testing the prototypes we've manufactured and they're working fantastically well. The focus groups we've used to test the devices on have returned to us with really positive results. It's time we mass produced the Berry and made it mainstream. We've got three different device models available and it's already compatible with vehicles from over 60 car manufacturers, plus we're adding more makes and models all the time. Thankfully, we're a third of the way into reaching our goal, which is great, but we need your support to make the Berry a reality," said Aaron Hunter.
