This is to help communities know that there is hope and they can find resources. EDUCATIONAL - It's dedicated to providing the community with addiction prevention and education information to help families, community outreach leaders and anyone who suffers with Opioid/Heroin addiction. The thinking and actions around the Rockers In Recovery® Meet & Greets are simple: educate and help people in need. RIR teams up with addiction professionals that are present at all of the Meet & Greets. Each festival has bands and solo acts along with a list of 10-minute addiction professional speakers in between bands. RIR is educating while having fun in a fun, loving environment.
