Flagler Schools Superintendent & Former Supervisor of Elections Endorse Abra Seay

PALM COAST, Fla. - Aug. 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Abra Seay is pleased to announce that she has been endorsed by Flagler Schools Superintendent Jacob Oliva and former Supervisor of Elections Peggy Raye Border.

Abra grew up in the rural, southern end of Flagler County, and as a young mother and wife, she graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida and became a teacher at Bunnell Elementary.  She was honored as Bunnell Elementary's 2013 Teacher of the Year.

Abra and her husband have five children. In addition to being a teacher for 13 years, she owned and operated a licensed childcare facility. She earned her Master's degree in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University in 2009.  She completed her degree in one year, graduating with honors, while teaching, running a business, and being a wife and mother. Three years ago she was selected to be the Coordinator of Flagler Schools Early Childhood Education Department. Under her leadership, Flagler Schools has implemented Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten district wide in all five elementary schools.  She manages a $1.2 million dollar budget, and supervises 36 staff members.  Abra currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia.
