The global youth unemployment rate rose from 11.8%to 12.7% between 2008 and 2009. By the end of 2010, 75.8 million young people were unemployed. The figures are still witnessing a northward momentum!

Sad but true; this unemployment challenge is rather intense in the developed world. The fact of the matter is; youth unemployment thus represents lost potential for economic transformation.
