Follow on Google News | Introduction to Online Mediation for Spanish-Speaking Mediators - Free 1-hour WebinarSpanish-speaking mediators will soon have the opportunity to learn more about online mediation during a free 1-hour webinar presented by Giuseppe Leone, founder of Virtual Mediation Lab, a project sponsored by ACR Hawaii.
Leone will explain and demonstrate how experienced mediators can do online everything they are used to do face-to-face. For example, joint and private meetings with the parties, shuttle diplomacy in multi-party disputes, information (documents, pictures, videos) sharing and annotation, writing up the parties' "Memorandum of Understanding" In order to make this webinar as useful as possible, after Leone's presentation webinar attendees will watch a 7-min video recording of an online mediation simulation of a commercial case, run on June 27, 2016 with three Spanish mediators. Next, they will be invited to ask those mediators any questions about their experience participating for the first time in an online mediation. Here are some questions that will probably be asked: To the Mediator - If you had mediated the same case face-to-face, rather than online, would she have done anything differently? To the Parties - How did you feel being online? Was it easy, simple, natural? This Virtual Mediation Lab free 1-hour webinar will take place on July 13, 2016 at 6:00pm Madrid, Spain Time.
