Savas Beatie's Popular Emerging Civil War Series Wins Lt. Gen. Richard G. Trefry Award for 2015

 
EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. - June 29, 2016 - PRLog -- Savas Beatie's popular and engaging Emerging Civil War series, which guides the reader through some of the Civil War's most important stories, has just been selected to receive the Army Historical Foundation'sprestigious Lieutenant General Richard G. Trefry Award for 2015.

This award honors a book or a series of books that deserves special recognition for its contribution to the literature on the U.S. Army. The Army Historical Foundation recognized series editor Chris Mackowski, chief historian Kristopher D. White, and publisher Savas Beatie LLC, "for their work on the Emerging Civil series, an invaluable collection of Civil War battlefield guides."
