SES is providing two anchor stations for the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (DALO) to enable Danish Armed Forces to communicate through the United States' Wideband Global Satcom (WGS) system (Source: Satellite Today, Via Satellite *). SMi has confirmed WGS Partners Denmark, New Zealand, and Canada to speak at the event. The programme features Corporate Vice President of Government Market Solutions at SES, Nicole Robinson, speaking on day two of the conference. Nicole will discuss Satellite Communications and Enabling Critical Surveillance Capabilities. Day three of the conference will feature speakers from the Danish Defence Command. Lieutenant Colonel Frank Valentin Nielsen of the CIS Operations Support Department. Frank will present on Danish Approach, Solutions and Concerns with Regards to Military Use of SatCom. Highlights include how to optimise civilian and military assets to satisfy key requirements, MilSatCom vulnerability and overcoming this to ensure operational efficiency.
