The Waxing Room Celebrates Its Diamond Anniversary In Chicago East Lakeview Neighborhood With Pride

CHICAGO - June 22, 2016 - PRLog -- The Waxing Room, known for its specialized and signature hair removal techniques, is celebrating ten years at its Lakeview location.  The celebration will take place on Sunday, June 26, from 4-7 pm, at the Lakeview location.  During the celebration, clients, friends and family will be treated to cocktails, hor's d oeuvres and a raffle for waxing services.

It has been a busy and exciting journey to this diamond anniversary. I am grateful to my grandmother, who fueled my desire to be in the beauty industry, our clients who have through the years become friends, and our staff who works with passion and diligence to set and maintain our standard.  I share this milestone with all of them.

June is a significant time of year for The Waxing Room.  It is the anniversary of its opening, but more importantly, June brings Chicago's Pride Fest and Parade to the Lakeview neighborhood.  Small businesses in the neighborhood embrace and support the LGBTQ community and this is especially apparent during this time of year, when the rainbow colors can be seen everywhere.

This ten-year journey continues on, as The Waxing Room looks to innovate the hair removal industry in the near future.  Recently opening a second location in the Uptown neighborhood, the vision is to open additional locations as well as offer specialized training in waxing, something that is not easily available currently.

The Waxing Room has been featured in Allure Magazine for Best Eyebrow Wax and Best Waxing in Chicago; as well as in Chicago Magazine.
