Verrex Appoints Lourdes Collins as Business Development Director in Boston

BOSTON - June 21, 2016 - PRLog -- Verrex, an APEx-certified global provider of superior AV technology solutions and experiences announced that Lourdes Collins has joined the AV systems integrator as Business Development Director - New England & Canada, based at its Wilmington-MA office. Ms. Collins will be responsible for creating opportunities for the company's continued growth in this key region by building and maintaining a network of influencers and decision makers. She will focus on educating the market on Verrex's unique value proposition and the benefits of working with a highly-certified, in-region partner. She reports directly to Vice President of Marketing & Business Development, Theresa Hahn.

Collins joins Verrex with over 15 years of experience developing key relationships within the A&D, high-tech, end user, and built-environment communities. Career highlights include SVP of Strategic Alliances at Red Thread - Steelcase Dealer; Regional Manager at Kimball International; Director of Architecture & Design Initiatives at Teknion LLC; and Director of Architecture & Design - North East Region at Haworth. She attended Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (Mexico City) and Wheelock College (Boston), and has completed Sales Management and Leadership programs at Ivey School of Business (Toronto).
