The Dapper Market: A Manly Pop-Up Market & Fair; Just In Time For Father's Day

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - June 6, 2016 - PRLog -- (Fort Lauderdale, Fl.) A brand new event, The Dapper Market, is about to launch at the popular Revolution Live complex in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Taking place on Saturday June 18th from 12-5pm, The Dapper Market will feature vendors and local businesses showcasing & selling their artisan & boutique products, services and goods; all of which are geared toward men.

Over 35 booths will transform Revolution Live into a pop-up marketplace with all sorts of men's products, including: locally made beard oils; handcrafted belts, wallets and other leather goods; "Man"tiques; artisan jerky, sparkling bitters, and other edibles; unique bowties, cufflinks, and other accessories; locally designed t-shirts and clothing; and more.

Food trucks will be on-site all day, and Revolution Live will keep their full bars open. In honor of The Dapper Market, they will also be offering "manly" drink specials, including a classic Tom Collins. For non-drinkers, Panther Coffee at Stache will also be open all day with espressos, cold brews, americanos, and other coffee beverages.

The Dapper Market will also conveniently take place the day before Father's Day. This makes it the perfect opportunity to purchase gifts for dads, or great for a Father's Day outing.

The Atlantic Studios event production team, Chris Gaidry and Amanda Weiner (responsible for other local events including Indie Craft Bazaar, Food In Motion, and Night Owl Market Street Festival), saw a need for an event that specializes in products for men, as the male audience is typically under represented within local markets.

"For years, we've noticed women's products can tend to dominate the craft fair / pop-up / market scene, which is precisely why we're excited to create a platform that's geared specifically toward men's products, services, & masculine goods", Weiner says.

"We often see women shopping through our vendor markets, and the guys wait at the bar with a beer, because they don't assume they'll find much for themselves. There are actually a ton of great local clothing companies, artists, and accessory makers for men. The Dapper Market is here to fix the disconnect, giving guys the opportunity to shop local and find products they'll love", says Gaidry.

Revolution Live, an edgy music venue and lounge, is located in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Its spaciousness and indie/ artsy atmosphere make it the perfect location for The Dapper Market.
