Is pain always associated with pregnancy? What can I eat during pregnancy? Do I really need to eat for two? Can I exercise during pregnancy and how can I get back into shape safely after delivery? These are the common questions asked by many mums to be.
Expectant mothers experience aches and pains while pregnant, and the strains that come after delivery; they worry about eating enough or eating too much and eating healthily for their growing unborn child; yet they are anxious about losing the mummy fat post delivery.
During this informal educational and fun session, our panel of friendly and experienced speakers in their specialists fields will share with you all you need to know about the causes, the prevention and the treatment of the aches and pains during pregnancy, post delivery pelvic floor strains, maintaining a fitness program during pregnancy, nutrition in pregnancy and after and how you can get back to shape after delivery.
Ms Sylvia Ho, Principal Physiotherapist with Core Concepts strongly believes that "There is no necessity for you to be in pain when pregnant". Echoed by Dr Deborah Wong, Pilates Instructor with Breathe: "It is not impossible to maintain an active fitness program which can help you have a more enjoyable pregnancy, easier labour and faster recovery after". This public forum is one which expectant mothers would get the answers and assurances to combatting the issues face by modern mums of today.

Ms Heng Li Hoong, a certified Functional Trainer and certified Pre & Post Pregnancy Trainer with RetroFit will be touching on "Getting back into shape, when can I start?"
