New England's Largest Robotics Conference and Exhibit Kicks Off June 7-9

AUVSI-NE's "ROBOTICA" Looks to the Future of Autonomous Systems

DEVENS, Mass. - June 3, 2016 - PRLog -- The New England chapter of the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is hosting ROBOTICA 2016, its second annual robotics and autonomous systems trade show and conference at the Devens Commons Center in Devens, MA on June 7th, 8th & 9th.

During the three day event, guests can tour the exhibits and live demonstration areas, as well as attend over 25 sessions, led by 90+ robotics industry experts in subjects touching on a broad range of applications. Panel topics include: driverless cars, ground based robotic platforms, unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), personal assistance robots, manufacturing & warehousing technologies, maritime surface & subsurface unmanned vehicles, robotics in surgery, prosthetics & therapeutic solutions, telepresence robots and a host of business strategy programs for technology development and investment.

Keynote speakers include: Brian Wynne (AUVSI, President); Marke "Hoot" Gibson (FAA, Senior Advisor, Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration); Katie Stebbins (Massachusetts HED -Assistant Secretary of Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship); Thatcher Kezer (MassDevelopment, Senior Vice President of Devens); John Leonard (Toyota Research Institute, Area Lead Autonomous Driving); Peter Wurman (Technical Co-Founder and CTO of Kiva Systems/Amazon Robotics); and Dan Kara (ABI Research, Research Director, Robotics).
