STW Introduces Family of J1939 Input/Output Blocks

NORCROSS, Ga. - May 31, 2016 - PRLog -- STW Technic, a premier manufacturer of mobile controllers and measurement technology, today announced the introduction of the IQ SBlock, a family of J1939 I/O blocks for use in distributed control systems on working machines and off highway vehicles.

The IQ SBlock is designed for the mobile controls market and uses J1939 for communication. The family will include input, output and combination blocks. The output blocks can support up to 52A of output, with each individual output having a maximum of 10A.  These blocks reduce wiring efforts by minimizing the need for spider web harnesses, while at the same time allowing for shorter cable runs to each device. Each I/O point on the block has LED indicators along with short circuit and over current protection to simplify troubleshooting.

The IQ SBlock can be utilized as a slave I/O module by any controller capable of performing J1939 communications.  The Deutsch connectors are user-friendly and make maintenance very simple.  The unit is priced very competitively and is a unique and attractive offering for the North American marketplace.
