Dialogue with Three Chords Concludes 5th Season this week with YOUR AEON HAS NOT EARNED OUR RESPECT

NEW YORK - May 25, 2016 - PRLog -- Dialogue with Three Chords (D3C) concludes their fifth season of producing new indie theatre in Greenwich Village this Thursday with YOUR AEON HAS NOT EARNED OUR RESPECT. Written by Stephen Gracia and directed by Michael LoPorto, It's the final installment in the year-long, serialized play, THE MAJOR ARCANA or THE FOOL'S JOURNEY.

The show features live music by all-girl trio Dolltits and starts at 8pm on May 26, downstairs at Mr. Dennehy's on 63 Carmine Street, New York, NY 10014. Admission is free with a $3 suggested donation.

YOUR AEON HAS NOT EARNED OUR RESPECT sees characters from the season-spanning MAJOR ARCANA narrative "in a cabaret, on a cliff, at the edge of the void," according to Gracia, where they "sip wine, sing songs, and settle scores as they wait for the Fool to start everything over again."

The evening includes actors and recent graduates of the Brooklyn College BFA in acting program as well as industry professionals. This is D3C's second year partnering with the Brooklyn College program.

It's also the return of Dolltits, who supported the September 2015 MAJOR ARCANA performance. Band member Magie Serpica said of the D3C crowd that her Staten Island based, acoustic punk band had yet to find "a more captivated audience."  Serpica said Dolltits were excited to return because D3C's "clear punk rock attitude combined with the essence of traditional theatre lends itself to a unique night."

Gracia, who co-founded D3C with LoPorto in 2011, said of the final installment in his six-part ongoing storyline: "after a lifetime of debauchery, blasphemy, manipulation, and murder," his MAJOR ARCANA characters were "still of the world and have no regrets."

"Your Aeon Has Not Earned Our Respect" features: Lisa Jill Anderson, Jessica Bathurst, Ally Callaghan, Larry Greenbush, Marisela Gonzalez, Kendra Leigh Landon, Anthony Marino, Anthony Noto, Edie Nugent, Django Palty, Maia Sage, and Tina WongLu.

Dialogue with Three Chords was founded by Stephen Gracia and Michael LoPorto and applies the do-it-yourself philosophy of punk to the stage and features plays and live music. Their work has also been produced at HERE Arts Center, Dixon Place, SOHO Gallery of Digital Art Sargent Theatre, Levenson Hall at Brooklyn College, and the Theaters at 45 Bleecker.

The Brooklyn College BFA Acting program offers intensive courses in Stanislavsky-based acting, Alexander technique, improvisation, voice production, diction and dialects, solo performance, stage combat, the business of acting, acting with the camera, and theater history.
