RESTON, Va. - May 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Vision III® Imaging, Inc. (the "Company"), the developer of revolutionary parallax visualization (v3®) technologies that enhance the three-dimensionality of normal media displays, announced today that the Company has launched a direct-to-accredited-investors capital raise using the exemption from registration provided by the US Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) Rule 506(c).

The Company recently created an industry buzz in the Future Park at the April 2016 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) convention in Las Vegas, NV with a dramatic demonstration of the Real Shot™ technology's ability to "pop" imagery off the surface of large outdoor LED displays.  The amazing Real Shot visual experience can be viewed at the following links:         (NAB video - 1.5 min)         (Investor video teaser - 1 min.)

"The future visual imaging market will belong to the technology that delivers the best visual experience in the simplest and most cost effective manner.  v3 delivers on all three counts."

Chris Mayhew - CEO, Vision III Imaging, Inc.

The Company is the inventor and developer of the v3 parallax visualization (PV) technologies.  The PV technologies are the subject of a significant patent portfolio protecting a series of optical and software tools that capture and present three-dimensional information.  On May 9, 2016, the Company received a Notice of Allowance from the US Patent and Trademark Office for its twenty-first patent.

The v3 technologies allow producers and advertisers to differentiate their content and therefore maximize the value of their content vis-à-vis the surrounding programming.  No glasses or anything special is required to distribute or view v3 programming across a wide spectrum of mediums including home televisions, mobile devices, tablets, movie theaters or on large outdoor displays.

The v3 technologies significantly enhance image three-dimensionality and are directly applicable to digital cinema, broadcast television, video games, defense/security, medical, virtual reality and augmented reality content creation.

The Company is raising up to $5.25 million from accredited investors through a Rule 506 (c) Offering.  It intends to apply the proceeds of the Offering to implement its business strategy.

About Vision III Imaging, Inc.

The Company is a leading provider of advanced, immersive depth and data processing solutions that enable users to create three-dimensionally enhanced visual information viewable on all current and future displays, without the need for special glasses or modified devices.  v3 technologies can be adapted for any camera, any lens and displayed on any screen, at any resolution and can be applied in real-time or in post-production. The Company's current addressable market is estimated to be in excess of $700 billion, the v3 technology is equally applicable for enhancing the visual reality of the emerging virtual reality and subsequent augmented reality markets.

Over twenty years in development, v3 technology is protected by 20 issued US patents, numerous foreign patents and backed by an IP protection strategy based on a rich pipeline of ongoing patent applications.

The Company's v3 imaging technologies have been developed for creating, capturing and displaying three-dimensional parallax depth information. These technologies empower users to generate and assemble imagery with a high degree of precision.  The Company has focused its R&D efforts on an area of human perception that is unique and largely overlooked by the imaging industry. It has developed a large body of work around the concept of presenting parallax (three-dimensional) information over time. As a result, the Company has been able to develop and patent a series of fundamental proprietary parallax visualization technologies and tools.
