Darrin Morris Band Ready To Deepen Durango's Canyon

DALLAS - May 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Darrin Morris Band was called in to replace another band that had an unexpected conflict arise. This bit of ill-fortune turned out to be a hidden gem when a member of the Uncle Lucius team, Hillary Love (The Texas Promo Gal), was informed. "I immediately thought of Darrin Morris Band when the spot became available. I am always ooking to promote bands from my East Texas roots and Darrin fits this bill perfectly. Darrin Morris Band is ready, willing and the fans are going to love them!" quoted Hillary.

This musical blitz is a two day music festival event comprised of 9 bands, lots of food, retail vendors, and a grand finale featuring Uncle Lucius. The event has a wide variety of entertainment partners; among them is KYKX, 105.7 FM Country Radio.

Afternoon DJ, Phatt Matt, quoted this of Darrin's addition to the lineup, "We are so very excited to feature local talent, especially an act that is the caliber of Darrin Morris Band".


This fun filled, boot scooting treat was the brainchild of a group of die-hard Uncle Lucius fans. The event organizers new this would become a large scale event and they wanted to give back to their local charities. Among the charitable foundations they had to choose from this year, they decided upon the East Texas Food Bank. Lead singer of Uncle Lucius, Kevin Galloway, put his final stamp of approval on the project when he heard that the food bank had made the cut. He has a special connection to the needs of the food pantry and the citizens it serves.

As a small child growing up here in East Texas, Kevin's father was injured in a work related accident. His family relied heavily on the Food Bank to see them through that brief but difficult time. With this in mind, he is sensitive to just how much our donations will help a family through a crisis. So this year's recipient was an easy choice for him.

East TX Food Bank Communications Director Karolin Davis Quoted: "We are so honored that Uncle Lucius and the organizers of the Uncle Lucius Family ReULion have bestowed upon us a portion of the proceeds from this event".
