ONCHAN, U.K. - May 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Specialists in obsolete IT hardware BlueGoose Systems announce the launch of their new-look website.

Julian Kirby, owner/founder says, "The content of the new site better reflects the way the business has developed over recent years, focusing increasingly on the sourcing of obsolete and rare parts to order for our customers rather than distribution products."

"We are regularly asked to source refurbished computer (and increasingly, industrial) parts and complete obsolete systems that date from as much as 30 years ago. Customers contact us daily, desperate for critical parts that may have been obsolete for two or three decades, or that have just gone end-of-life and fallen out of distribution. Armed with our thousands of personal and corporate contacts built up over the last twelve years however, we are well-equipped to locate even the most tricky items. A lot of the very rare parts we source are brought in from overseas now, where there are still tranches of vintage equipment being decommissioned on a regular basis. If it's out there, we'll find it!"

The redesign was again built around BlueGoose's enormous database of over five million parts: "Over recent months we'd become aware that the performance of the site wasn't always quite what it could be. The new site, as well as having what we think is a cleaner, more contemporary look to it, is now significantly faster. All pages load more quickly but the database search facility most noticeably so. In my opinion this makes for a much better user experience and I hope our customers find it easier to use when hunting for that elusive part!" says Kirby.
