Registration For The 1st Virtual Prayer Race Now Open

GALES FERRY, Conn. - April 30, 2016 - PRLog -- Saint David's Episcopal Church announced that it is accepting registrations for its first-ever, global reaching fundraising event from May 22-29, 2016 benefiting the teen Pilgrimage in 2017.

The event entails registrants to walk, run, swim or bike anytime during the week of May 22-29, 2016 at a time and place that fits their schedule and pace.  Registrants can split up their activity, use equipment such as a treadmill or stationary bike. In addition, all participants are welcome to provide a prayer request where then all registrants can pray while conducting their activity.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

• Register Online or Print and Mail Registration Form
• Register to walk, run, swim or bike for a distance of 1-mile, 5K or a 1/2 Marathon.
• In addition, you have the option to provide a prayer request that you would like all participants to Pray for while they are walking, running, swimming or biking.

Just Before Race Start Date

You will receive an email reminder  that will include a link to a list of all prayer intentions.

During Race Week

• From May 22 - 29, 2016, walk, run, swim or bike.
• Plus during your activity pray for all prayer intentions on the 2016 Virtual Prayer intention list.

After The Race Week

• You will receive your 3-inch,Virtual Prayer Race Finisher Medal in the mail!

If unable to participate people are welcome to provide a nominal donation in support of this inspirational teen experience.
