Grapevine Communications Continues Growth by Expanding Staff

SARASOTA, Fla. - April 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Grapevine Communications, the area's leading full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency, is pleased to announce the addition of two members to its staff. Britney Guertin was hired as PR & Social Media Associate and Heidi Cook, who previously worked with Grapevine from 2006 to 2013, rejoined Grapevine as Special Projects Coordinator.

"Britney brings the persona and experience to help us continue creating and achieving effective public relations and social media campaigns on behalf of our clients," said Grapevine Founder and President Angela Massaro-Fain. "It's also our pleasure to welcome back Heidi, who will lend her expertise, industry knowledge and exceptional organizational skills in the facilitation of some large projects."

A graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in public relations, Guertin most recently worked as Marketing Coordinator with Shore Lifestyle Brand. While with Shore, Guertin promoted the private label nationally and positioned the company as the premier lifestyle brand encompassing both retail and dining components in Sarasota and the surrounding areas.

Prior to that position, Guertin served as an Area Marketing Coordinator with Tijuana Flats for nearly three years. In this role, she managed all local store marketing opportunities in North and West Florida and Southern Georgia as well as assisted with numerous new store openings and coordination efforts for the Just in Queso Foundation.

Guertin is a member of Designing Daughters of Sarasota, Florida Public Relations Central West Coast Chapter and the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce's Membership Benefits & Small Business Support Council.

Cook graduated from Sullivan County Community College with an associate's degree in Office Management. She brings over three decades of agency experience in production management, media planning/buying, client relations, project management and office management. Cook's original role with Grapevine was Traffic and Production Manager, a position she held from 2006 to 2013. Prior to rejoining Grapevine this month, Cook worked as a Digital Project Manager for a digital advertising agency.
