The 2016 Mazda CX-5 Has Now Arrived at Cox Mazda in Bradenton

The 2016 Mazda CX-5 is powered by either a SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGIES 2.0L 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed manual transmission that produces 155 hp and offers 26 mpg/city and 35 mpg/highway fuel efficiency, or a SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGIES 2.5L 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and Sport mode that can generate 184 hp and offers a maximum EPA-estimated fuel efficiency of 26 mpg/city and 33 mpg/highway.

Drivers can expect standard features to include air conditioning, power windows and doors, cruise control with steering wheel-mounted controls, remote keyless entry, Bluetooth hands-free calling, and pushbutton start. Select trims add options such as radar cruise control, automatic high-beam control, dual-zone automatic climate control, and privacy glass.

Available technology features include the MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment system that can be equipped with voice command feature, Aha, Stitcher, and Pandora internet radio, SMS text messaging auto deliver and reply, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD radio, applications, navigation, and emergency 911 notification systems.

Advanced airbags with front passenger weight and driver's seat position sensors are standard to all trim levels, as is 4-wheel ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability control, and Traction Control Systems. Selected trims offer additional feature packages that include safety options such as Lane Departure Warning, Smart City Brake Support with Collision Warning, Distance Recognition Support System, Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross-traffic Alert Features.
