Prestige Imports and Exports Expanding into Middle East Craft Spirits Industry

Prestige is looking to source premium and craft Arak in order to import it into the Balkan region, believing that the time has come for Arak to become the next, "must have drink".

Mr Georgiou the founder of the Prestige Group, explains that through marketing the spirit in cocktail bars, chef restaurants and social media, this exotic anise based spirit will become the new trend to take the market by storm. Prestige views the Balkans as the gateway to the rest of Europe.

This is capitalizing on the trend whereby consumers are interested in craft distilling and artisanally produced liqour brands which have a legacy and history. The aclohol industry, whilst seeing a dip in overall consumption, is seeing much growth in unique, high quality, local products.
