Gordon Gives Fourth Annual 300+ Car Seat Giveaway

BATON ROUGE, La. - March 30, 2016 - PRLog -- This year, Gordon McKernan is making his annual Car Seat Giveaway bigger and better than ever. Similar to his bike giveaway this past December, Gordon will be giving away over 300 car seats and boosters in the greater Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Shreveport communities this April.

Registration for the contest began on Wednesday, March 23 and ends on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.  The 300+ car seats will be awarded through a series of random drawings and contests on our facebook page (facebook.com/getgordon).  For more information you can tune in daily to 94.1 FM (Baton Rouge) 95.5 FM (Lafayette) or 103.7 Tha Beat (Shreveport).

When asked why he choose to expand the giveaway to multiple cities, Gordon McKernan commented, "I love giving back to the community, especially around the holidays, but I really wanted the opportunity to do something again without waiting a whole year. That is why we added the car seat giveaway in the spring-time years ago and have continued since. It has been such a pleasure to see how it has had such a positive impact for so many greater Baton Rouge families that I decided to expand to Lafayette and Shreveport this year.  I enjoy seeing the smiles on the faces of the winners. But it is even more of a blessing to know that with every car seat we give, a little child is going to be a lot safer!"
