Spectrum Sports Management Introduces Avalon 50/50, Expanding Annual 50 Mile Benefit Run

CLAREMONT, Calif. - March 28, 2016 - PRLog -- Spectrum Sports Management, the leading sports management event production and sponsorship agency, is adding a new event and distance to the Avalon 50 Mile Benefit Run. The expansion will add an additional 31 miles that will run alongside the existing 50-mile course, for a total of 81 miles.

"We're excited to bring participants not only a beautiful and challenging run, but an extraordinary running experience," said Mike Bone, Race Director. "There are no cars and no smog on the trails, just great scenery, amazing views and at the end of the day, a great cause."

The race is one of the most challenging, yet fascinating and charming scenic 50-mile races. Charities that benefit include: Avalon Hospital, Avalon High School Scholarships, the Catalina Island Conservancy, the Bill Putnam Health Care Fund and other local organizations. Spectrum Sports not only looks to promote a healthy lifestyle centered on these sporting events, but also takes on raising money for the benefit of many philanthropic organizations.
