BERKLEY, Mich. - March 17, 2016 - PRLog -- The Huntington Company, an international franchisor for industry-leading retail and restoration drycleaners, has added Andrew Kolar as Associate General Counsel. The announcement was made by Wayne Wudyka, The Huntington Company's Chief Executive Officer.

Prior to joining Huntington, Kolar spent the past few years at Kostopoulos Rodriguez, a Birmingham, Mich., law firm and outside counsel to Huntington since 2008, where his legal experience was focused on franchising, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and commercial real estate. Kolar earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Saint Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis.

"With the increased franchise development activity at our organization, for both CRDN and Martinizing, we needed additional resources to efficiently manage the expanding work load of the legal department. Andrew's experience withfranchise law and our specific brands will enable us to increase our bandwidth as he plays a key role on our team," Wudyka said.

"In addition to handling the wide range of complex details involved with completing three acquisitions and forming a new brand in the past five years, our department also has supported the onboarding of hundreds of franchisees following the acquisitions, and the expansion of our brands as new franchisees have joined our organization," said Jessica McGrath, The Huntington Company's In-House Counsel. "Andrew's knowledge of and familiarity with our businesses certainly stands to prove valuable, and as a previous team of one attorney and one paralegal, the assistance is greatly appreciated."

Since introducing a new and diversified business model last fall for Martinizing International, LLC, The Huntington Company has begun expanding what already is the largest U.S.-based franchise dry cleaning brand.

"Our service approach is the most comprehensive and customer-focused available, combining retail stores, pick-up and delivery route service, locker-based delivery and on-demand service. Quality service is a given today, and meeting consumer demands is what really sets us apart," Wudyka added.

CRDN, the Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network, LLC, is The Huntington Company's business-to-business brand and the nation's largest franchise network of insurance textile restoration providers.  Serving the U.S., Canada and the U.K., CRDN restores garments and other fabric items in homes and buildings damaged by fire, smoke, water and other contaminants.  With more than 150 franchises and annual sales in excess of $100 million, CRDN is comprised of some of the largest and most prominent drycleaners in North America.

The Huntington Company and its affiliates are privately held companies located in Berkley, Michigan. The companies that comprise the family of brands are Huntington Cleaners & Shirt Laundry, Huntington Woods, Mich.; Huntington Window Fashions, Troy, Mich.; and Wesch Cleaners, Birmingham, Mich.; as well as the 1-800-DryClean, bizziebox, Pressed 4 Time, Martinizing, Dry Cleaning Station and Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network (CRDN) franchises.
