Pitch selection couldn't be easier! The digital control panel has inputs for pitch speed, spin direction and spin amount. The actual pitch speed is set directly, as opposed to setting multiple wheel speeds on other models. This machine does the math for you. Spin direction is set to one of 12 directions, laid out like a clock face, as indicated by an LED. Spin amount is also set directly as none, low, medium or high. This system yields a total of 37 different pitches available at any speed from 40 mph - 100 mph.

Pitch location is controlled by two hand wheels, horizontal and vertical. Each wheel is connected via worm gear to the pivoting frame to allow precise, controlled adjustments to dial in strike after strike. The worm gears can't be back-driven, so the machine won't wander like traditional pin & clamp based machines.

Three wheel design provides three main benefits over two wheel design. First, three wheels provide better contact with the ball for better pitch control. It's like throwing a baseball with three fingers instead of two. Secondly, the batter can see the ball the entire time it is on the ball feeder ramp, helping batters time the pitch. Two wheel machines can obscure a batter's view of the ball, especially when in a vertical orientation. Finally, using three wheels eliminates the need to rotate the machine to change pitch type. Pitch break is entirely determined by the speed of the three wheels, so setup is easier.
