LAS VEGAS - March 3, 2016 - PRLog -- Vegas-based comedian Don Barnhart and Jokesters Comedy Club at Bally's Las Vegas packed them in giving back to the troops and the family and friends of those that serve.

“Our military appreciation night was a complete success,” said Barnhart. “We had a full house, great performers and tons of volunteers donating care packages that included toiletries, CDs, DVDs, phone cards, snacks and much more that we’ll take over to surprise the troops next month when Battle Comics head out on tour.”

The Vegas show included Barnhart along with guest sets by comedian Keith Lyle from The Hangover who has toured extensively with Barnhart’s http:www.BattleComics.org, comedy legend Marsha Warfield who played Roz on the hit TV show Night Court, Derek Richards from The Irish Comedy Tour and another of Barnhart’s Battle Comic veterans, comedian Alex Powers, and former boxer and MMA fighter turned comedian Ron Coleman who also appeared in one of Quentin Tarantino’s first movies.

Don Barnhart and his Battle Comics – Laughter For The Troops will be heading to the Middle East in March to entertain the troops for Armed Forces Entertainment. The Battle Comics will be performing at some of the bases where the Vegas-based 17th Sustainment Brigade is currently deployed. The Battle Comic Tour will feature Jeff Capri from Comics Unleashed, Slade Ham from XM/Sirius Satellite Radio, Bob Kabota from Last Comic Standing and Jordan Brady from the documentary I Am Comic. Brady will be filming the Battle Comic tour for an upcoming documentary.

Brady emphasized, “The documentary explores the time-honored privilege comedians have performing for our men and women of the U.S. Military serving overseas. We will spotlight the relationship comics uniquely share with our troops, bringing laughter, relief and a taste of home to wherever they are stationed.”

Some of the recent Battle Comics Tours have included Comedy Legend George Wallace and James Durbin from American Idol. When not on tour, Barnhart performs nightly at 9:30pm at Jokesters Comedy Club inside Bally’s Las Vegas in the Window’s Showroom.

Barnhart has just written the pilot episode and is currently in development on the new TV show Class Clowns based on his stand up tour, and Barnhart’s DeEvolution of Man video has close to 1 million hits on YouTube. Don is an award-winning comedian and best-selling author and was recently named "Best Bet" by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Don Barnhart's stand up comedy takes audiences on a comedy thrill ride of well-written, topical material exploring the waning tide of male gender identification and man's declining role in modern day society in a way that is hysterical, highly entertaining and thought provoking.

Don’s new book on comedy, Finding Your Funny just hit the Best Seller List on Amazon and includes a humorous and heartfelt forward by Comedy Legend George Wallace.
