March 11 Cars, Cigars, & Style Event to Benefit Arthritis Foundation

CINCINNATI - Feb. 17, 2016 - PRLog -- Cincy Chic and Cincinnati Profile are co-hosting the second annual Cars, Cigars, & Style at Blaine’s Fine Men’s Apparel on Friday, March 11 from 4-8 p.m. All fundraising proceeds and 10% of store sales will benefit the Arthritis Foundation.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. With an RSVP, guests will enjoy wine and bourbon tastings, light bites, and a swag bag. There will also be a classic car exhibit on display, featuring Concours d’Elegance past participants and winners.

Chuck Hellman, owner of Blaine’s Fine Men’s Apparel, recalls the inaugural Cars, Cigars, & Style event held last fall. “I was so pleased that we had a good turnout and were able to write a check for $800 to the Arthritis Foundation,“ he says. “It’s important for businesses to give back because we have been blessed with many opportunities due to our hard work…giving back not only helps others but makes you feel good!”

The Arthritis Foundation’s mission is to “help conquer everyday battles through life-changing information and resources, access to optimal care, advancements in science and community connections,” according to Rachel Ruggeri, the Community Development Manager for the Arthritis Foundation’s Greater Cincinnati and Dayton chapter. “One in five individuals will be diagnosed with arthritis. It’s so important for everyone to be involved, come together, and participate in the fight against arthritis.” Regarding how the funds from the event will be used, Ruggeri says, “So much of our funding goes toward research to find a cure for arthritis [as well as] toward advocacy and medication to help make a better life for patients.”

At the event, Hellman says they will be featuring several new spring designs. “This spring is full of color and fit,” he explains. “From stretch trousers to formal dinner jackets to linen shirts and shorts, the assortment has something to make everybody feel good!”
