‘The world lying under the skin remains to be discovered. The relationships between organic structures are poorly understood. Creative adaptability and aptitude for efficacy in life are not born of the notion of order and proportionality. Let’s contemplate these structures that are our inside architectures and ponder upon them without preconceived ideas.’

Jean-Claude Guimberteau, July 2015

Dr Jean-Claude Guimberteau, internationally renowned hand surgeon and Past-president of the French Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, presents his innovative research into the emerging field of living anatomy.  Get ready to see visual evidence of a ground-breaking concept from a true original thinker as he opens the window into the largely unexplored world of the fascia in vivo.

Dr Guimberteau’s investigations take place inside a living human body using his perfected technique of intra-tissular endoscopy showing the complexity and intricacy of tissue mobility. On this WEBINAR  you will get to see and listen to Dr. Guimberteau as he shares video from his book: Architecture of Human Living Fascia: The extracellular matrix and cells revealed through endoscopy.   His photographs provide a detailed account of fascial architecture, revealing the morphodynamic nature of the fibrils that constitute the connective tissue. He will   explain  what the photographs and video mean, clarify the importance of the fascia, and explain  the implications of these findings for everyday therapeutic practice.
