Wonderful Indonesia Celebrated an Awesome Year of Monkey with Turi Beach Resort

NONGSA, Indonesia - Feb. 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Through the years, Wonderful Indonesia and  Turi Beach Resort were excited to celebrate the Lunar New Year. To welcome the year of fire monkey, Turi Beach supported by Wonderful Indonesia held a festive and prosperous dinner which was ready to make your celebration left unforgettable on 8th February, 2016 at Turi Beach’s Lobby.

The dinner started at 6.30 PM onwards featured series of Chinese New Year authentic event which kept the guest entertained. This event also showed off the richness of Turi Beach culinary which definitely satisfy your taste buds. BBQ Buffet Dinner with live cooking stations was especially well prepared by Turi Beach Resort culinary team.

During the dinner, lion dance by skilled team performed rousing dance to buildup the Chinese New Year spirit. As celebration of cheer and good fortune, special Yu Sheng also has been prepared for tossing at the peak of the event . In Chinese tradition,Yu Sheng, which is a tossing salad with raw fish, was considered as an auspicious dish especially eaten during Chinese New Year because it was a homophone for ‘increase in abundance’ and therefore symbolised prosperity when ushering in the new year.

Even more extraordinary, Turi Beach presented an iconic fashion show which showcased Batik and Kebaya Encim, an authentic fashion acculturation between Java and Chinese. Not only that, Chinese culture dance also performed to liven up the atmosphere. Turi Beach also invited a special guest to host the event, Miss Kelly Mok, who is crowned as Miss Singapore Face of the Year 2015. The celebration will not complete without Ang Pow given to the guests and moreover to be given as well as bunch of lucky draw prizes. The celebration was wrapped up by merry noise from firecrackers and fireworks.

At the end of the event, General Manager of Turi Beach, Sumantri Endang said “ Turi feels grateful towards Indonesia’s Tourism Ministry under Wonderful Indonesia flagship for supporting this event as it is going smoothly and well. For the very next period, we hope Wonderful Indonesia never stop supporting all events which can be a good bait for foreign to come to Batam.”
