Alex Benanti Named Principal And Michelle Laitinen Promoted To Director OF Riveron Consulting

DALLAS - Feb. 9, 2016 - PRLog -- DALLAS – February 9, 2016 – Riveron Consulting (http://www.riveronconsulting.com),a Dallas-based firm that helps clients maximize the value of both strategic and financial transactions throughout the business transaction life cycle, including acquisition, integration, operations and divestiture, is pleased to announce the promotion of Alex Benanti to principal of operations and Michelle Laitinen to director of transaction advisory services at the Dallas headquarters.

Alex Benanti

Benanti joined Riveron in 2012. As principal of operations, he will chair eachservice line committee and oversee engagement strategy, economics, rollout, effectiveness of sales operations initiatives, annual strategic business planning and acquisition integration.

Prior to joining Riveron, Benanti spent nearly five years at Raytheon in the finance leadership development program as an analyst in several business units before becoming the business optimization senior analyst within shared services. He gained significant experience in roles including financial modeling, process design, Six Sigma, project management, business intelligence, ERP optimization and accounting operations integration.

Benanti graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance. He is also trained as a Six Sigma black belt, certified in Earned Value Management System and as a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Michelle Laitinen

Laitinen has been with Riveron for more than five years.  As a transactions advisory services director in the Dallas office, she will continue to lead buy- and sell-side transactional due diligence, as well as manage client relationships and client service teams.

Laitinen has more than 12 years of experience assisting both private equity and corporate buyers and sellers with financial and operational due diligence. She has collectively worked on more than 170 transactions for domestic and international clients in energy, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, marketing, advertising, consumer products and services industries. Additionally, she developed and implemented the TAS service line training at Riveron that is still in place today. Prior to joining Riveron, she worked as a senior financial analyst at Invesco and manager in Ernst and Young’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in Dallas.

Laitinen is actively involved with the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, serving on a panel for the grants allocation process.  She has a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis on financial management and accounting and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Arkansas. She is a certified public accountant.
