UPS Protection, Inc. Acquires Automated Power Technologies, Inc

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Feb. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- LAKE FOREST, CA – Feb 04, 2016 – Automated Power Technologies, Inc. an industry leader in identifying, recommending and delivering power and air solutions and formally owned by Jerry Zechmeister of Lake Forest, has been acquired by UPS Protection of Anaheim, CA. The two companies will now operate as both UPS Protection, Inc.  and Automated Power, Inc.  By combining forces, the companies will be able to support a wider range of customers offering expanded products and services. Both companies will be run by Dan Coffman, CEO of UPS Protection, which has been providing power solutions for customers nationwide since 1983.

The combined companies will deliver major UPS brands, lighting inverters, generators and data center air conditioning including APC/Schneider Electric, Eaton, Liebert and others.   Services will be offered by the manufacturer or by the company’s in house service technicians.

UPS Protection will continue to offer a wide variety of reconditioned power backup equipment, UPS rentals and replacement batteries.   Together the companies also have the capability to do design/build and turnkey systems for battery backup, engine generator backup, and data center air.
