Partner has evolved into a $100MM firm in less than 9 years through rapid organic growth and a number of strategic acquisitions, with recent expansions into the Canadian and European commercial real estate markets. As President, Frank S. Romeo, Jr. will take on responsibility of driving profit and growth across all sectors of the company. With close to 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate due diligence industry, Mr. Romeo combines deep knowledge of technical environmental and engineering matters with a critical understanding of clients’ objectives and commercial pressures. His bold pursuance of business opportunities has been integral to the move into new markets and branches. Specifically, Frank was instrumental in identifying and facilitating the large acquisition of the Birdsall Services Group (BSG) in 2013, which significant expanded Partner’s capabilities in the civil engineering and facilities design space – known as the firm’s Solutions Division. Mr. Romeo will be lead the charge in bridging Partner’s Solutions capabilities with its traditional focus on due diligence assessments. “Our strength and expertise in both areas makes us uniquely multidisciplinary, and seamlessly connecting these business lines will allow us to deliver a truly full-service approach to our clients – helping them to manage risk and optimize profits at all stages of commercial real estate transactions, development or throughout the ongoing maintenance of an asset.” said Mr. Romeo. As Partner’s new president, Mr. Romeo is based out of the East Coast Headquarters in Eatontown (NJ), along with close to 100 professionals who joined after the BSG acquisition. With its West Coast head office in Los Angeles (CA), Partner’s dual headquarters model enables the firm to focus both on the financial markets of the New York metro area, while maintaining its leadership position in the vibrant California real estate market. Monique Burrola, a founding Principal of Partner, has been responsible for the development of the firm’s operational infrastructure and programs since its inception. “If Partner is one of the fastest growing firms in the country, then Monique is one of the fastest growing Operations Executives” says Mr. Derhake. “We have relied on her ability to identify operational efficiencies and streamline our business to achieve the success that we have.” Ms. Burrola leads the firm’s profit optimization efforts through expert workflow and efficiency modeling, sales and profit & loss analyses, and resource planning. “My vision has always been to make sure Partner is, and continues to be, the best home for talented professionals in our field” says Ms. Burrola. “I manage our technical project coordination department, human resources and recruiting, and policy development and implementation efforts, with that primary goal in mind”.
