Local Sponsor Opportunity for the TV Program IN THE TRENCHES by IFP

ALBANY, N.Y. - Jan. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- With StartUp Weekend 4: Upstate NY settling in Albany at the end of February, IFP Films is sending their crews to capture more local stories of entrepreneurship in the growing Tech Valley. IFP Films is also developing a regional program that opens up the sponsorship to area companies to not only be a sponsor for the complete project but to be part of the regional program and experience. StartUp Weekend 4-Upstate NY will be held February 26-28, 2016 at The Armory at Sage, 140 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.

The multimedia project involves a reality television show, a documentary and future educational modules on entrepreneurship.  It will focus on what it takes to start a company, the dynamics that go into forming a company, the process of selecting the offerings & products, raising support, and developing stakeholders, The show will focus on the drama, the conflict, and the comedy that naturally occurs when you bring people together in the creative process, trying to organize a business from the ground up.  The regional program will capture the special flavor of Tech Valley.

IFP Films’ Associate Producer, Tony Maret, describes the added program: “Throughout the process, we have been drawn to the local nuances to every entrepreneurial community we have worked with. The opportunity presented itself in Albany to create a regional version. We decided that local development should not be wasted so we will multi-purpose our production for In The Trenches and this local peek into Tech Valley. This will create very interesting perspectives for us to play off of in the storytelling.”

IFP Films is slated to develop In The Trenches on multiple media platforms: TV series, web, print and documentary. This will bring together the entrepreneurial world to focus on the positive commonalities across the different landscapes, cultures, locales for the benefit of our business audience and our students.”
