Susan M. Tillery to Present at AICPA’s Advanced Personal Planning Conference

ATLANTA - Jan. 14, 2016 - PRLog -- Susan M. Tillery, CPA/PFS, CFP®, President and CEO of Paraklete® Financial, Inc. (PFI) will be a guest expert in Developing, Designing & Communicating Wealth Management Services to Your Clients – The “Nuts & Bolts” of a Client Engagement. The Specialized Seminar will be held Sunday, January 17 preceding the 2016 AICPA Advanced Personal Financial Planning Conference at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 18-20.

The seminar will provide the tools needed to learn how to implement superior value-added services to clients in the areas of: Retirement Planning, Investment Planning, Estate / Charitable Planning, and Insurance / Risk Management Planning. Participants will examine how to:

·         Communicate with and educate the client to understand their unique needs and the solutions to address those needs

·         Maximize data collection

·         Analyze alternatives, including tax implications and selecting a recommendation

·         Effectively communicate the results to the client

·         Implement and monitor the plan, including working with other advisers

Susan M. Tillery is President and co-founder of Paraklete® Financial, Inc. Susan has over 30 years of experience in tax, philanthropy, and financial planning, as well as in the administrative and compliance areas encountered by affluent individuals and families. Ms. Tillery’s experience at Harris myCFO, a multi-family office where she was responsible for the development and delivery of comprehensive family office solutions to affluent families, together with her work at Arthur Andersen, Ronald Blue & Co and other financial firms provides the framework for Paraklete.

Susan earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Georgia. She holds the professional designations of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).

Susan is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of CPAs (GSCPA). In addition, she is Chair of the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Credential Committee. She serves on the Board for The National Center for Stewardship and Generosity.  She has served as past Vice Chair for the Board of Directors for Partnership against Domestic Violence, as well as for Royal Treasure (an organization that energizes, motivates and educates women to be excellent biblical stewards).
