Sissi Nuthman´s App will educate consumers on the hard truths about animal testing and highlight that it is possible to make the switch to choose only cruelty-free cosmetics, personal care products, and household goods.
The App makes it possible to scroll through a list of cruelty free brands or find out which brands are cruelty free at certain stores like Sephora, Ulta, Target, Walmart, CVS and Walgreens.
“I was always aware that animal testing is still be done for cosmetics and household products, but I thought it is too hard and expensive to make the switch. But after an extensive research in May 2013, I realized how many cruelty free brands are out there, which opened my eyes to the alarming number of products and ingredients that are still tested on animals,” says Sissi Nuthman. “Since then, cruelty-free shopping has become an absolute must for me and educating on my blog about it as well as developing an App to help other´s seemed like a natural fit.”
