Zachary Tinkle Entered in Champion® “Search for a Champion” National Sponsorship Contest — Initial Online Voting Round Begins

PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Jan. 5, 2016 - PRLog -- Zachary Tinkle, MiniCup (Super Cup) stock car racer based in Park Ridge, IL, has high hopes for the first round of the Champion® “Search for a Champion” National Sponsor Contest in which he’s entered in the Amateur Category. In this round, 25 contestants will be chosen to make it to the final round. Winners of the first round advance to the final round and win $1000 cash plus prizes from Champion®. Those that advance to the final round will vie for the Grand Prize national sponsorship of $10,000 from Champion®.

Winners are selected on three practically equally weighted criteria: Inspirational Quality, Best Depiction of a Champion, and number of votes from the public. A panel of judges determines the first two criteria with the public determining the voting round. On Zachary’s entry page, there are inspiring photos and a highlight video reel where he shows that he is not only a champion as a racer, but also a champion for marketing partners, fans, and the sport of racing itself.

People are encouraged to go to the Search For A Champion website and vote DAILY for Zachary Tinkle. Voting begins on January 5, 2016 and ends February 2, 2016 for this initial round. Also, go online to social media and share his entry page with the hashtag #SFAC2016 to encourage others to vote for him.

About Zachary Tinkle

Zachary Tinkle is a 12-year-old driving sensation based in Park Ridge, IL, who currently races the #53 ½ size stock car minicup car (also known as super cups) and indoor electric go-karts. Zachary is the 2015 Illinois State MiniCup Champion for the Short Track Auto Racing Series (STARS). He is the 2014 Central States Region (CSR) Super Cups Rookie of the Year and placed Top 5 in championship points in his rookie season. Tinkle has won a junior gas-powered indoor go-karting championship (Chicago Indoor Racing 2013) and three junior electric indoor go-karting championships (K1 Speed 2014 & 2015). He has family ties to the Indianapolis and Richmond, IN areas and was born in Cincinnati, OH. Zachary has aspirations of racing at the top levels of stock car racing including getting a ride with a NASCAR® team.
