The speaker at this seminar was David R. Dills, a senior Regulatory Affairs & Compliance Consultant, and the topic was “Modern Approaches to Process Validation: Requirements for Process Design, Design of Facilities and the Qualification of Equipment and Utilities”.

This seminar offered in-depth learning on ways by which a firm can define a sustainable structure for its validation program; how Change Control and other quality programs impact the validation program, requirements that go into process design, design of facilities and the qualification of equipment and utilities, and on several other important related areas.

The speaker at this seminar explored various aspects of a validation program in detail. Some of the interesting and relevant areas that were covered over the two days of this seminar included common pitfalls to avoid when executing validation protocols, how to estimate costs and time associated with validation, and how to respond to customer and regulatory audit observations associated with validation.

He also helped participants define and understand minimal recommended tests and verifications for:

o   Software Validation

The important outcome of this learning was that participants were able to understand ways by which to revamp their validation processes. The speaker helped them understand ways of dealing with a few common issues associated with the validation process.
