By: Grand Haven Properties The Grand Haven Realty building will be the first commercial property along Colbert Lane, which is a main thoroughfare between Palm Coast Parkway and Highway 100. Grand Haven Realty and Grand Haven Properties will occupy a 4,800 square foot office building as the initial anchor for the center. The site is approved for up to 50,000 square feet of commercial space. The current site plan envisions an additional corporate office, medical center, a variety of retail stores plus another freestanding building for a bank or pharmacy. According to Grand Haven Realty President Jim Cullis, the site was envisioned in the master plan for Grand Haven from the onset and represents a major milestone for his company, the community of Grand Haven and the surrounding City of Palm Coast. "Grand Haven is approaching full build out, as are other communities along Colbert Lane," said Cullis. "With more residential communities planned on Colbert Lane, Roberts Road and along Highway 100 the time is right to bring commercial online for this growing area." "Grand Haven Realty is also growing and we need more space to expand our team and services. We will continue to be the exclusive onsite real estate brokerage for Grand Haven while also extending our services to more clients and areas outside the master planned community. The new office will provide easier access for our customers with visibility directly on Colbert Lane." The Grand Haven Realty office is planned with an innovative new concept from a traditional real estate office. An open floor plan features a casual café setting with displays and information stations where visitors can learn about Palm Coast and Flagler County recreational amenities, lifestyle and real estate opportunities. The office will serve as the Grand Haven Information Center as well as a gateway to real estate information for surrounding communities. Cullis is also locating his Grand Haven Properties development company in the building. Agent offices, conference rooms and closing rooms will flank the café. The Graham Conservation Area will set a heavily wooded backdrop for the office and the Grand Haven Commercial Center. "We are taking an exciting approach to our vision of what a real estate office can be" said Cullis. "This will be a fun place to visit and learn about the region and discover all the opportunities for living, working and playing here. We also envision a one-stop real estate concept with affiliated businesses in the center including banking, a title company, insurance, property management, interior decorating and other affiliated services." The Grand Haven Realty office building is projected to open in the second quarter of 2016. The project team includes Wakefield Beasley Architects, Bomar Construction, Beebe & Associate landscape architect and Cline Construction. Cullis said negotiations are beginning with commercial developers and businesses for other sites in the Shoppes at Grand Haven. He said it is too early to say exactly when additional construction will commence but site planning and timing will continue to evolve over the next year as work progresses on the company's new office. "There is strong interest in this corridor with excellent access to both Palm Coast Parkway and Highway 100," said Cullis. "The location is ideal for businesses to serve the current residential base and future communities coming to this part of the city. Our office will set the tone and be the catalyst for build out of Grand Haven Commercial Center." Grand Haven Realty is the exclusive onsite real estate brokerage at Grand Haven in Palm Coast. Realty operations include exclusive representation of home builders offering new construction in Grand Haven, listing services for resale properties in Grand Haven and surrounding areas of Flagler County, sales and marketing for other new home communities including Sunset Inlet in Beverly Beach and commercial real estate services. The office is open daily in the Grand Haven Information Center at 7 Sandpiper Court in Palm Coast and can be reached by phone at (386) 447-0800 or online at GrandHavenPalmCoast.com. ____________ Photograph and Cut Lines: Grand Haven Realty Office Ground Breaking.jpg (photo attached) Pictured (left to right) at the recent ground breaking of site work for the new Grand Haven Realty office and Grand Haven Town Center: Rebecca DeLorenzo-President Flagler Chamber of Commerce, Jason DeLorenzo-City of Palm Coast Council Member, Jim Cullis-Grand Haven Realty President, debi Peterson - Flagler Home Builders Association.
