Seven Seas Worldwide Starts the Countdown for Chinese New Year

Global shipping and excess baggage company, Seven Seas Worldwide, has announced that the cut-off date for sending items to China in time for Chinese New Year is November 30th.

ASHFORD, U.K. - Nov. 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Chinese New Year in 2016 lands on Monday 8th February which means that if international Chinese citizens wish to send personal items such as gift packages back to China by sea for the New Year celebrations, they need to do it this month.

Director John Henderson revealed that it has been a good year for Seven Seas Worldwide in China. ‘Our share of the market continues to grow in China and throughout the Far East,’ he revealed, ‘but we’re aware that a lot of Chinese people living and working abroad miss the shipping deadline for sending gifts and other personal items back home for Chinese New Year. Therefore we’ve taken it upon ourselves to make more of a song and dance about it!’

Seven Seas Worldwide will be making announcements on their website, creating an email marketing campaign and keeping customers aware of the countdown via social media outlets and blogs.

Next year will be the Year of the Monkey, the ninth of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac. The lucky colours of 2016 will be white, blue and gold and the lucky numbers will be 4 and 9. According to devotees of the Chinese zodiac, the monkey is optimistic, quick-witted and ambitious, and that if you’re a banker, a scientist or a film director, this could be the year for you!
