TIME LINES: poetry and prose
Nov. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- For ten years Gloria wrote what she thought and read what she wrote on the radio: among other things, about women and children and men and food and fog and death and taxes. From this came a book: Throwing Sticks and Skipping Stones.

Meandering with words also led Gloria, almost without thinking, into poetry. Bits and pieces in her pockets, in her dreams, on her desktop, waiting to be finished … some are. Waiting to be published … some are.

Currently, Gloria is the editor of Bonzer with BonzerPlus, a literary ezine published in Australia, but with readers and writers worldwide. Her biggest wish, only partly fulfilled, is to meet these far away friends.

Her writing also appears in various magazines, anthologies and newspapers including The Seattle Times and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The pause before a tock
is long enough to save a life
or end it. The future of a second
is as hard to guess
as the significance of a single tear
a bead before it dangles on a string
a note without a symphony
a star without a galaxy
a gasp, at last.
