PRLog -- Brain tumors continue to be very difficult to treat and often times people do not want to talk about brain tumors. Despite this, brain tumors continue to be the leading cause of solid tumor death in children and men under the age of 40. Furthermore 20% of cancers will spread to the brain. It is important to find effective treatments and researchers at UCLA, Cedars-Sinai and Children's Hospital Los Angeles look forward to the Annual
Heroes of Hope Race for Brain Tumor Research to raise funds for research with the hope that one day soon, there will be many more treatment options for those impacted by brain tumors.

th Annual
Heroes of Hope Race for Brain Tumor Research will be held at Dockwieler State Beach on Sunday, November 8, 2015. The event brings together schools and teams from all over the Southern California area and raises funds for cutting edge brain tumor research. Funds raised stay in Los Angeles funding UCLA, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, USC Keck School of Medicine and Cedars-Sinai brain tumor research.
Doctors, researchers, nurses, caregivers, patients, cancer survivors and their families, along with celebrities and many impacted by brain tumors, will be in attendance and will all unite in the fight against brain tumors. The coveted Rivals United in Hope Cup (RUH) will be awarded to the Largest Team, the Top Fundraising Team and the Top School.
Thousands will gather to participate in the 5k/10k, Kids Fun Run and new iDance4aCURE event while raising funds for brain tumors and honoring and remembering loved ones.
