The Misfit Nation Sketch Comedy & Improv Group Makes It's Las Vegas Debut Oct 11th

LAS VEGAS - Oct. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- The Las Vegas Comedy Institute’s in house sketch comedy and improv group The Misfit Nation will debut it's ongoing live show Oct 11^th in Las Vegas, NV at The Las Vegas Comedy Institute.

Founded by award winning comedian and Second City Conservatory Graduate Don Barnhart, The Misfit Nation will perform a live monthly show at The Las Vegas Comedy Institute as well as offering a weekly series of improv, sketch and comedy writing workshops.  Barnhart and his team are currently filming sketches and The Misfit Nation will make is TV debut later this year.

Don Barnhart’s own stand up show was recently named, “Best Bet” by the Las Vegas Review Journal Newspaper and he is a regular headliner on the Vegas Strip.  “We wanted to create a show based in Vegas and use the amazingly talented people that live here”, said Barnhart in a recent interview.

The Misfit Nation consists of an in house cast of regulars including Don Barnhart, Keith Lyle from The Hangover, Emmy Award Winner Jonathan Smilowitz, Christopher from the Eddie Murphy Raw Tour, Bert Archer, Brent Mukai, Tony Genosa, Rebecca Love along with a rotating cast of guest performers.

The response for the debut show has been so overwhelming that they had to find a larger venue for the opening night.  The Oct 11th show will be at 7pm at Boomer’s Bar & Lounge right after the Las Vegas Stand Up Comedy Showcase.

Seating begins at 6:30. Admission is free, 21 and over with a full bar and food menu.
