Global Experience's Sonia Ortega Named a Finalist for 2015 Premier of NSW's Export Awards

Global Experience is proud to share that Managing Director, Sonia Ortega, was among the finalists named for the award and is proud to be attending the awards event at the end of this month.

SYDNEY - Oct. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- At a 1 October event in Sydney, the 2015 Premier of NSW Export Awards finalists were named. Selected from the largest pool of applicants in the 53-year history of the awards, the 85 finalists were announced by the Export Council of Australia (ECA) with a final awards ceremony scheduled for 28 October.

Global Experience is proud to share that Managing Director, Sonia Ortega, was among the finalists named for the award and is proud to be attending the awards event at the end of this month.

Lisa McAuley, Chief Executive Officer for the Export Council of Australia said “The judges have been particularly pleased by the quality of the entries this year, because despite this being a particularly difficult year in terms of the domestic and global economic conditions, many applicants demonstrated a real talent for innovation – cleverly evolving their products to meet market needs. We congratulate Global Experience on being named a 2015 Premier’s NSW Export Awards finalist.”

Throughout the last weeks of September and the month of October, Global Experience and other nominees and finalists for the awards are posting their best photos to Twitter for the ECA "Around the World in 80 Deals" campaign – this campaign highlights the pinnacle of what each of these companies has done overseas to export Australian goods and ideas around the world. Global Experience will continue to post there weekly throughout the month with stories of its many successful students and outreach overseas.

The ECA awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on 28 October, 2015 and the Global Experience team is excited to be a part of this unique opportunity to represent Australia and the work done each year to share culture with students from around the globe.
