DENVER - Oct. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- COMINT Consulting and Tektronix, Inc. recently announced that the RSA306, built to be one of the fastest, full-featured and affordable USB spectrum analyzers on the market, now has the power of the Krypto500 and Krypto1000 SIGINT software suites to support its intelligence capabilities.

Krypto500 (https://comintconsulting.com/krypto500/) (for signals ELF-SHF) and Krypto1000 (https://comintconsulting.com/krypto1000/) (VHF-SHF), are collection, decoding, analysis and classification systems, designed to be highly specific for SIGINT analysts’ needs and intuitive for operators. High-definition displays, customizable controls and a large and continually expanding collection of decoders and classifiers make them the most complete tools to give your mission more real-time intelligence.

Portability and performance are required in most areas of conflict, and Krypto500 and Krypto1000 were designed to deliver, providing all spectrum analyzers, receivers, and direction finders -- including low-SWaP equipment -- the full array of features at either low CPU or standard CPU settings.

Already built into the software are filters to increase intercept, comprehensive parsers for pinpoint analysis, and cryptographic systems for added security.

“Tektronix understands that detection and analysis tools need full power in a portable package,” said James Kilgallen, technology director of COMINT Consulting. “Being able to provide missions with on-the-march technology that gives them every bit of intelligence they need is why we exist.”

The RSA306 (http://www.tek.com/spectrum-analyzer/rsa306) weighs in at only 1.3 pounds and fits easily into your hand, or even on a tool belt. This small spectrum analyzer is still able to provide a broad9 kHz to 6.2 GHz frequency range. Its 40 MHz real time bandwidth real-time processing capability is at least 1,000 times faster than spectrum analyzers from other major suppliers at about half the cost.

The portability, affordability and USB 3.0 interface makes it a popular choice for projects and missions that need thorough scrutiny of the signals they read, not just a pass/fail read.
