Follow on Google News | Halloween Candy Buy Back and Open House 2015Local Novi Michigan Dentist takes stand against sweets on the street this Halloween
By: Goldstein Dental Group, PLLC On Monday, November 2 from 5:30-7:30 pm, Halloween, trick-or-treaters can bring in their excess candy to 23895 Novi Rd., Novi, MI 48375 and receive cash and other goodies. “Ditch the candy, that’s what we’re saying,” says Dr. Raphael V. Goldstein of Goldstein Dental Group. “Visiting your dentist twice a year and brushing daily are great preventative measure, but doing away with excess sweets altogether would really give your teeth a healthy boost. Kids can still have all of the fun of trick-or-treating and now their piggy banks will benefit as well,” he continued. Once collected, the candy is shipped to Operation Gratitude in Van Nuys, CA where it is then sent in care packages to deployed troops. Candy, toothbrushes, tooth paste and dental floss will be collected at Goldstein Dental Group, 23895 Novi Rd., Novi, MI 48375 on Monday, November 2 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Each child is eligible to receive $1 per pound of unopened, uneaten candy, up to 10 pounds. Goldstein Dental Group is working hard to raise public awareness of the buy back’s efforts as well as the benefits of healthy eating and great dental hygiene.
