Chef Works to Provide Charitable Grants of $5,000-25,000 to Accredited 501c3 Organizations

POWAY, Calif. - Sept. 28, 2015 - PRLog -- Chef Works, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of culinary apparel, today announced that it is now accepting applications for the 2016 Chef Works Cares charitable giving program.  Now in its second year, Chef Works Cares will award grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000 to non-profit organizations specializing in either the elimination of children living in poverty; the care of children and adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities; or protecting and improving the environment for many generations to come.

“In 2014, Chef Works was thrilled to award much needed funding to four worthy charitable organizations during our inaugural year of Chef Works Cares. To see the impact our charitable dollars has made is extremely meaningful to our company. Chef Works is currently seeking grant applications from registered 501c3 charitable organizations in which to provide financial support in the following three areas: (1) the elimination of children living in poverty, (2) children and adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities and (3) protecting and improving the environment for many generations to come.

Grant applications are currently being accepted from now until October 30, 2015. Grants between $5,000 and $25,000 will be awarded to charitable organizations by the Chef Works Charitable Giving Committee in January / February 2016.
